Sit in your own life. What are you going to do for the 2nd slice of 2024?
Maybe I am going here a bit against the natural cycles of nature, but for me, for the past years (as an entrepreneur), summer’s been the season to cut the unnecessary and get ready for the next. And sometimes doing that means doing it with someone to guide you.
Here we are, halfway through the year. Some of our plans took fruition in the busy months of spring, but I know there is more out there for us, women.
In my case, the year is split between the season of actualisation (winter), the season of action (spring), the season of realignment (summer) and the season of growth (autumn).
When most people usually prepare to go on holiday, the city streets get quieter and less busy. Sitting with this state of mind (and fact) gives me the perspective to re-align with my yearly mission and intention. And it doesn’t need to be an impressive project, sometimes it’s just about moving the needle a bit.
In summer I usually take care of my home more, donate and declutter and make space for the new that’s to come beginning of autumn. I get the time to really see what I can actually accomplish this year versus my initial plans, get more grounded in what is possible with the time I have left. My cares for how others are farther or not get dissolved in a blissful but also intentional state. Just like one of my astrology teacher says: I sit in my own life.
